I SHALL read every Star Trek novel
As the title of this posts says, I plan to read every Star Trek novel published. Its a lot. There are novels for all five tv series and seven novel only series. The biggest being Star Trek: TOS with being close to 130! I plan to read the numbered and unnumbered novels in each series and not in order. Why not in order? Well, frankly these books are very hard to find. I can spend way to long trying to collect the early numbers before starting. Keep in mind I just can't go out to Chapters and pick up the first TNG novel, which hasn't been published sense the 80s, I have to hit the used books stores. As of right now, I have read most of the re-launch novels in TNG and VOY, and these will be my first posts. I don't know how long it will take, I hope along time. I don't want to rush, I want to enjoy this.
The main reasons I'm doing this is to tie the novels into the Trek universe. Blog about where they fit, which characters, places and species are in them. So you can pick and choose which novels interest you. This is going to be fun!
